David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons have just come out with a new book entitled UnChristian. Based on research from the Barna Group, Kinnaman, they make conclusions and some recommendations about how to reach a new generation. The statistics are sobering – extremely sobering. In their words, younger generations “rarely see Christians who embody service, compassion, humility, forgiveness, patience, kindness, peace, joy, goodness, and love.”

Hi, Paul–I haven’t really talked to you in some time. But still wanted to say that I think it’s awesome you are pushing yourself to do something you are not necessarily all that comfortable with, and hope that it ends up being an enjoyable, good experience for you, and looking forward to reading–
